Praise God for the Love of the Father and the Love of the Son we see so richly described in Isaiah 53. Oh! What a cost!? Truly, Jesus paid it all – and all to Him I owe!
We not only come to the cross to find a remedy for our sin, but Christ also calls us to walk the way of the cross, denying ourselves, taking up our crosses, and following Him daily. As we embrace the cross of Christ in our daily living we also enter into His resurrection life and the power thereof – “whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it!”
Praise the Lord! May He teach us to embrace the cross in all of its facets.
